Come and enjoy a jazzy mix of your Christmas favorites performed by the Kal Bergendahl Project at Carolyn’s Coffee Connection.

Founded in the fall of 2005, the Kal Bergendahl Project (KBP) steps into the worlds of vocal R&B, pop, and smooth jazz, creating a unique and interesting blend of music that attracts a wide audience. The group’s sounds are reminiscent of David Sanborn and Kirk Whalum on the jazz side and Norah Jones and John Mayer on the pop side.

Melodic variety is a key element of the KBP’s style, as a live show features pop and soul vocal melodies incorporated with instrumental melodies led by the saxophone, guitar and bass. This variety creates an intriguing musical texture that can be led by any member in the band.

To kick off the holiday season, join The Wisconsin Chamber Brass Quintet for an open rehearsal of Christmas carols as the prepare for their holiday tour of Wisconsin.

Welcome to our 9th BeExposed! event on Friday, November 19. We will have a full schedule for you as usual. This month we have two different types of music coming to Carolyn’s Coffee Connection: Hunter McKenzie, a student from Carthage will be playing solo, and Jeff and Abi Stevens, local musical duo, will play for us as well. We also have two amazing speakers: Maureen Cashin Bolog from Actor’s Craft will talk about the success of her company and actors from our neck of the woods, as well as show some demos of their work; Karen Carnabucci will explain and discuss the new world sweeping therapy she practices entitled “Ancestors, Constellations, and Healing”. There’s a lot going on and the energy should be fantastic! Hope to see you there!

The “BeExposed!” performance series is a free monthly event at Carolyn’s Coffee Connection, spotlighting artists of all disciplines and celebrating the power of creativity. The next show is on Friday, June 18th and features:
